All three FDA-approved medications for erectile dysfunction, including Viagra, begin to work in about a half an hour, or perhaps slightly less time. Viagra lasts for four hours or more, and Levitra may last a little longer. Cialis, on the other hand, can work for up to 36 hours, which has earned it the nickname of "The Weekend Pill."
